Murg Malai Kebab

Murg Malai Kabab, one of the most popular chicken kababs from mughlayi cuisine. Its delicious and tender kababs which serve most of the Indian Restaurants as starters. Its a great party dish all your guests will enjoy this dish. Here is recipe for you all to try.



Ingredients
  • Chicken Breast 250 gm, boneless
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Pepper Powder 2 tsp
  • Fennel Seed Powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt

  • Mozzarella Cheese 3 tbsp, grated
  • Corn Flour 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom Seeds 2 tsp
  • Garlic Cloves 4 nos, crushed
  • Coriander Leaves few chopped
  • Green Chili 2 or 3 nos
  • Curd / Yogurt 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Fresh Cream 1 tbsp
  • Butter 2 / 3 tbsp, melted 
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt
Method

Wash and cut chicken pieces into medium cubes, drain water well. Take a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, fennel seed powder, lemon juice and salt. Combine everything well and marinate chicken pieces and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes. 

Take a blender and add coriander leaves, green chillies, crushed garlic, cardamom seeds and make a smooth paste. Don't put water while grinding. Now take out the marinated chicken pieces and add this ground mix, curd, cream , cheese, oil and cornflour mix everything well. Please make sure everything coats well with chicken. Keep this again in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. 

Meanwhile soak the bamboo skewers in water for 3 hours. Now add 2 or 3 chicken pieces on the skeweres according to the size of the kababs. Pre heat oven to 220 degree C for 10 minutes. In a baking tray line aluminum foil and place the skewered chicken kababs on the baking tray. Please keep some space while arranging the kababs in the tray. Apply melted butter on the chicken pieces using a spoon or a brush. Keep the prepared chicken kabab skewers tray in the oven and bake or grill for 15 to 20 minutes on 180 degree C. After that take out baking tray from the oven and flip the chicken skewers and apply melted butter and keep them back on the oven at the same temperature for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm as it is or with your favorite chutney or sauces. Enjoy.. 

NB: if you want can marinate the chicken pieces overnight and make kababs on the next day. It tastes better. Enjoy cooking.
